Top U1000 Player: $50
ENTRY FEE:
Entry fee is $35 if received by Wednesday, Aug. 25th; $25 for Juniors* (under 19 years old AND playing in the U1600 section) by Aug. 25th; after Aug. 25th and at site $40 for all.
*When registering on-line for this tournament, please note that the first box that will appear on your screen will be the $35 registration box for adult entries; scroll down below that box and the $25 registration box for Junior entries will appear.
NOTE: Jr. Entry Fees count for 70% and
Re-Entries count for 50% of a full-paid entry.
RE-ENTRY FEE:
Re-Entry fee is $20 and you may re-enter up to Round 3.
ROUND TIMES:
9:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
BYES (1/2-point): Available for any Round. Limit one bye per player. Must commit before Round 2.

ON-SITE-REGISTRATION:
You may register on-site between 8:15 – 8:45 a.m. the day of the tournament (Saturday, Aug. 28). The first round will start at 9:00 a.m.
USCF MEMBERSHIP:
If you need to purchase a USCF membership, you may do so on site. One-year memberships in the U.S. Chess Federation for rated tournament play are as follows:
Premium Adult Membership -- $42 (includes mailed 12 issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Regular Adult Membership -- $29 (includes ON-LINE ACCESS to 12 issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Senior Membership (age 65 & over) -- $36 (includes 12 mailed issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Premium Young Adult Membership (24 years of age and under) -- $32 (includes 12 mailed issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Regular Young Adult Membership (24 years of age and under -- $24 (includes ON-LINE ACCESS to 12 issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Premium Youth Membership (15 years of age and under -- $27 (includes 6 mailed issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Regular Youth Membership (15 years of age and under -- $20 (includes ON LINE ACCESS to 12 issues of "Chess Life" magazine).
Premium Scholastic Membership (12 years of age and under) -- $23 (includes 6 mailed issues of the magazine "Chess Life for Kids" magazine).
Regular Scholastic Membership (12 years of age and under -- $16 (includes ON LINE ACCESS to "Chess Life for Kids" magazine).
MISCELLANEOUS:
Please bring boards, sets & clocks, if possible--none will be provided - Chess Vendor (Cajun Chess) will be on site. Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase on site.
PARKING:
You will be able to park free on Walker Ave. between Zack H. Curlin and Patterson Streets or, if you prefer, there is covered parking adjacent to the University Center (Visitor's Parking Garage) on Zack H. Curlin S. (near Walker Ave.) for $6 for all day.
