PRIZES:

Trophies awarded to the top 3 individuals and teams in each rated section and to the top 3 individuals in the Reserve section; medals to all non-trophy winners.

First round will start at 1:00 p.m. and other rounds will immediately follow.

BYES (1/2-point):
Available for any Round.  Limit one bye per player.  Must commit before Round 2.

  ON-SITE-REGISTRATION:

You may register on-site between 12 noon – 12:30 p.m. the day of the tournament.  The first round will start at 1:00 p.m.

USCF MEMBERSHIP:

If you need to purchase a USCF membership, you may do so on site.  One-year memberships in the U.S. Chess Federation for rated tournament play are as follows:

Premium Young Adult Membership

(24 years of age and under) -- $32 (includes 12 mailed issues of "Chess Life" magazine).

 Regular Young Adult Membership

(24 years of age and under -- $24 (includes ON-LINE ACCESS to 12 issues of "Chess Life" magazine).

Premium Youth Membership

(15 years of age and under -- $27 (includes 6 mailed issues of "Chess Life" magazine).

Regular Youth Membership

(15 years of age and under -- $20 (includes ON LINE ACCESS to 12 issues of "Chess Life" magazine).

Premium Scholastic Membership

(12 years of age and under) -- $23 (includes 6 mailed issues of the magazine "Chess Life for Kids" magazine).

Regular Scholastic Membership

(12 years of age and under -- $16 (includes ON LINE ACCESS to "Chess Life for Kids" magazine).

MISCELLANEOUS:
Please bring boards, sets & clocks, if possible--none will be provided - Chess Vendor (Cajun Chess) will be on site.  Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase on site.
